Today we worked out what was left to do and I gave time frames for when i wanted them done. I was using the allocated weeks for production we were given as a guideline.

Bassy/Techno/Dubsteppy music
Soft/Classical/Violins
Something sung by a woman kind of hauntingly like the lead singer of Evanescence.
Which I wanted by Thurs 12th
It was good to meet and get the ball rolling and sort out what needs to be done within time frames, and especially as we are starting earlier than our designated week I think it makes everyone feel a lot more relax and eliminates the need to worry about the deadline dates in a few months.

Tutorial with Neil
Today I met with Neil to discuss where we were heading so far with the project.
Thus far we had a penultimate rough draft of the the script, which would be completed by the end of the week.
I also mentioned that we had a group meeting scheduled for later that week where we would discuss locations, characters and general scheduling.
Neil then helped me find a way to express to Owen (Sound) my thoughts on sound as I am not very articulate when it comes to trying to explain certain things.
What we decided was that I sound come up with either emotions or musical genres or tones and then get Owen to comprise a list of about 10 sound clips that he think best exemplifies what I was describing. I was to then go through the list and agree or disagree or say "A bit like this one and a little like that one" which means that by the time it gets to the sound editing stage we will have come up with the best soundscape.
